Découvrez les bases de la petite maroquinerie.

Apprenez à confectionner un porte-monnaie/billets, entièrement à la main, selon un patron imposé.

Vous découvrirez et réaliserez toutes les étapes nécessaires à sa réalisation :

Contenu de la formation

• Découpe des cuir extérieurs et doublure selon les gabarits
• Encollage des doublures puis surtaille
• Préparation des pièces pour la couture
• Couture main, point sellier avec deux aiguilles
• Pose d’un bouton-pression
• Finition des bords

Exploration Workshop: The Wallet/Purse

Explore the basics of small leather goods.

Come and learn how to make a wallet and a coin purse, entirely by hand, following an imposed pattern.

Course Content

You will discover and do all the necessary steps to its realization:

• Cutting of the outer leather and lining based on the templates
• Gluing of the linings then overcutting
• Preparation of the pieces for stitching
• Hand stitching, saddle stitch with two needles
• Installation of a snap fastener
• Finishing of the edges

*Classes will be taught in French but anglophones are welcome to join. The teacher is bilingual and happy to translate when needed.

Coût/Cost

• 140 $ – 6 h (Matériel compris/Material included – **Les couleurs des cuirs peuvent varier./Leather colours may change.)
• Pause d’une heure pour dîner/One hour lunch break
• Maximum : 8 participant.e.s. / participants
